We love our family travels. But there are annoying things we come across in every single trip

Here are our Top 10 Annoying Things we love to hate about Family Travel:

1. People coming home with awkward accents after being overseas for 5 days

” I went to Baaahleeee, had this beautiful Naahzeeee Gouwreng”

2. Before your trip, people will always say: “Careful when you’re in…. there are….”

“Have you been there?”. “No, but my friend told me” – 🤐 please.

3. Crazy Asian travellers

Special mention to the ones who hogs photo spots. Take multiple shots with SLR, selfie sticks, more shots with the phone, take videos for Insta story, check the photos to make sure they have one good one – all for their 357 social media followers back home. Then finally making a video call home to show off to relatives back home 😩

4. Clueless parents who don’t prepare their poor kids for travel

The ones who gets super stressed two days before the trip. And parents who let their kids run around on the plane or up and down hotel hallways.

5. When toddler says “Mama I want to pee”

“Oh NO, not here! We passed 3 McDonald’s and 2 Starbucks earlier, and NOW you want pee?!”

6. Moving heavy luggages

From one town to the next, through train stations, and finally up that super tiny lift to reach your Airbnb

7. Tortoiselike people at the airport

People who try their very best to slow the whole airport down!

The ones who try to get extra luggage allowance at check in counter, the ones that can’t find their passport or boarding pass at immigration, the ones who have to take off their family jewellery heirloom one by one at security check point 🙈

8. Inconsiderate flight passengers

The arm rest hogs, the ones who keeps their lights on even when sleeping, the ones who fully recline their seats during meals.

9. Immigration officers

Grumpy, disinterested ones that can’t wait to finish work.

Some countries seem to be very good at finding the most unwelcoming persons and put them at immigration desks to welcome thousands of visitors into their country.

10. Everyday: “Ni hao!”

“No, we’re Australians”. “But you look Chinese?!” 🙄
